2. How We Use Your Information

4. AI Service Providers
We do _not_ train artificial intelligence (AI) models with any user data. AI includes, but is not limited to, machine learning and large language models. We do send some data to secure and trustworthy AI models to enable intelligent automation features such as query-agent match scoring. However, this data does not include text that our customers have told us are most sensitive from a creative intellectual property perspective, such as query letters or manuscripts.

5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices including encryption, secure storage, and access controls to protect your data. However, no system can guarantee complete security. Upon any understanding of a data breach, we will notify our users within 72 hours of findings.
